Ethiopia Ayele Tulu Coffee
Yeah, this one’s got it. That inimitable sunny day swagger, that crisp cocktail slickness, that flowery citrusy super-saturated sweetness that just can’t be faked: WASHED ETHIOPIA. At it again, and resplendent as ever. Perhaps our reddest orangest coffee of the year so far (one in a vermilion?), this one is not to be missed. Ayele Tulu got into coffee after retiring from 45 years of governmental service. Returning to his family stomping grounds of Bona Zuria, Sidama, he set up his own washing station.
