Soft Fragrant Fires for After Dark or Dreamy Afternoons.  Each natural wax candle is composed of an exquisite blend of bespoke perfume oils and essential oils and poured into artisan mouth-blown glassware exclusive to Tatine, crafted to be drink safe. Gently hand wash or place the glass in the dishwasher for use at your next celebration and let it live uniquely on. Candles are

free of petroleum-derived paraffin, phthalate-free, and are crafted with cotton wicking.

The petite candles are tinted black with ingredients extracted from vegetable oils that are both Prop65 and REACH compliant. Inky black when lit, a light grey crystallization or texture may appear on the unlit candle surface. This is considered a unique part of working with natural colorants.

The boxes are printed in Chicago with craft manufacturing, adorned with locally-sourced, 100% recyclable labels featuring a kindred design collaboration between two Chicago female artists and Tatine, working in shared inspiration from music, poetry, and abstract painting. Flatten the beautiful origami-style box, as the scent of each candle leaves its mark and can be slipped into a drawer to emit a delicate fragrance.

City of Night - Ghostly notes of dark hinoki oil and charred vetiver blend with cypress and fir needle to create a deeply fragrant resin. Black pepper and evocative woody floral accords are finished with velvety leather and oaken whiskey. Totally seductive.

Field of Grass - The sweet, joyful, and nostalgic smell of cut grass. Top notes of summer grass under a sun shower. Notes of golden flowers, green tea, and lemon bloom at the core to create a heaven-sent memory.

Fig - An herbaceous aroma with boozy dried fruits, sweet sunburnt red fruit, and mulberry. Woody crushed fig tree leaves infuse with aromatic greens. 

Forest Floor - An earth perfume with mushroom nuances, mists of rain soaked ferns, and the earthen smell of dark green moss covering the cool, damp dirt of the forest floor. A dreamlike atmosphere emulating the forest and all its beauty.

Garden Mint - A bouquet of highly aromatic mint leaves and sweet spearmint accented with fresh, sparkling, and spicy pink peppercorns and lemon tea. We added the very special extract of Schinus Molle to our blend, which is ethically harvested and distilled near the Molle trees in Lima, Peru to capture the scent of the berries. The essential oil is then purified in France by a soft molecular distillation process resulting in an incredibly luscious and herbal aromatic garden mint with the scent of berries, ginger, eucalyptus, and soft jasmine petals.

Holy Basil - Dark green herbal notes blended with wild meadow grasses, cannabis, and sacred basil. Drops of dark violet oil, anise, and garden mint round out top notes of Absinthe, clove buds, and green vine tomato. A spiritual ceremony, an offering.

Kashmir - Kashmir is a fragrant unisex blend of ethically harvested sandalwood oil, white incense, and dry woody amber oil. Gunpowder and saffron tea notes anchor creamy, soft orientalist spices. Drops of exquisite magnolia flower, vanillin and musk rest in the base to create a powdery haze. Total aphrodisiac. Crank it...

Laurel Canyon - An evocation of rainfall on sun drenched arid soil. Canyon wildflowers float into the air and into the rain soaked eucalyptus trees, carrying the aromas of cannabis, juicy apricots, and rustic suede. You can almost smell the music.

Pine - Woody evergreen notes blended with balsam oil. A sweet forest aroma with both crisp and warm resinous notes. Inspired by the whispering pines of Northern Wisconsin, holding strong personal memories. An aroma for all seasons. 

St. John's Wood - October’s leaves collapsed underfoot, their colors made more brilliant on the concrete by the falling rain. Smoke quietly rising from the chimneys spoke of the coziness inside the vine-walled cottages. A quintessential fall evening candle, blended with smoky vetiver and cedarwood, notes of rain soaked concrete, and autumn leaves. 

Soft Lanterns - A loose groove of tobacco flower and cinnamon leaf drops into a soulful woodsy potion with an echo of mandarin, white thyme, and carnation. A long slow fade-in of powdery musk base notes and highly alluring warm amber accords emote a sensual appeal. A floating harmony illuminated from within, shining through clouds of sweet smoke of opopanax resin and creamy iris. Inside the scent's gentle glow, a dark fire burns with earthy patchouli and cedarwood for an olfactive journey of love, courage, mystical rhythms and revolution transcending both time and space. Hashish - Riding high on head notes of viscous ash, tart rhubarb, and peppery citrus, which melt into cassis heart notes, this offbeat fragrance is not for the faint of heart but rather those with a proclivity to the kind of magic reserved for a hard day's night, for those possessing the boldness to roam wild and free. Footnotes of dark patchouli, saffron, Hindu buds, and violet underpin Hashish's woody, enigmatic soul. Ethereal yet powerful, meant for moments when you feel like letting go.

Spirit House - Bearing the scent of orange, mandarin, and coriander, Spirit House is an uplifting blend of fire and crackling spices, pimento, and dried chilies with clarifying offerings of lemongrass and wild lime leaves wrapped in garlands of violets and rose hips. ⁣
