Fits a 3/4" bottom, standard tapered candle. To care for your candlestick holder, simply wipe clean with a damp cloth.  *Please make sure candles are securely inserted into the candlestick before lighting. Put the candles out once they burn down to one inch to avoid having the candles fall through the openings in the candlestick.
