New Artists Submissions
Humboldt House carries over 50 Chicago-based designers and we are always on the hunt for new work!
If you are interested in stocking your work at Humboldt House, please note the following guidelines:
Be based in Chicago. We are proud to say all of our artists and designers are from our fine city!
We purchase items wholesale, so please make sure that your pieces are priced accordingly.
Please send an email introducing yourself and your work with links to your social media, as well as your website, and line sheets, if available.
If your work fits Humboldt House's tight aesthetic then you will be asked to stop by for a meeting at a later date.
Humboldt House is open to carrying all items but what we love most are ceramics, jewelry, leather accessories, apothecary, clean lined furniture and textiles. Please no clothing or photography.
Do you have heirloom pieces, estate inquiries or just need to find a new home for a vintage piece?
Humboldt House would love to see what you've got! Please send photos of each piece, any information you have on the item (maker, year purchased, materials), price you would like for the piece and location. We are open to information on all pieces, but the furniture that fits our style best is 50s to 70s mid century with an emphasis on clean lines and neutral upholstery.
Cork, chrome, marble, travertine, teak, rosewood, mohair, brass and rattan are some of our favorite materials. Arthur Umanoff, Knoll, Eames, Milo Baughman, Danish Modern, Brazilian Modern and California Modern and some of our favorite designs.
